Black Tears - Chapter 2
In the middle of the night, someone knocked at Kalie's door.
"Ouch! Damn..." The hand holding the silver knife slipped, and a drop of blood fell upon the fine slices of artemisia, ruining a day's worth of work. Without caring, the girl run to the door: maybe he was back.
Oh, this time he'll hear me...
Truth to be told, she understood him. She did not blame him for staying away months from their small, petty village, not at all. She just wanted some consideration: knowing where he'd go, when he'd return, when he'd leave... was she asking too much?
Sucking her hurt finger, she opened the door. "Is this the hour to come home?" she exclaim
